Labor Day weekend we went to the mountains with Papa and CC. It was cold, rainy, and foggy. We had an amazing time!
Emerson was not into taking pictures this trip.
Papa always wants to go check the mail at the mailbox, so we like to go on the adventures with him. It was cold enough for a hat, and Em wore it like a champ (sweaty head and all).
Emerson is such as a big boy these days! Ah, he wants to do everything on his own. In some ways it's really nice, in other ways it makes me sad. My baby is officially gone....and now is a big boy!!!!
There was this amazing fog in the valley where my parent's cabin is located that hung around all day. Once again, Em did not want to get in the picture with me and Papa.

For such a little boy he sure does have concerned looks at times.
Along our adventure we explored mushrooms and beautiful flowers. Em loved all of the flowers.
This little piece of heaven is the most amazing place on earth. I'm so thankful Mom and Dad bought this slice of heaven on earth. The presence of God is easily felt in the cool beauty and quiet of the mountains!
